What is Whois?
It is the name given to the sites where it can be determined which user a domain name belongs to. Sites that make Whois inquiries display information such as which e-mail address, which name and phone the queried domain name is registered with. However, the companies from which the domain name is purchased also have a precautionary service against whois query. A domain owner using this service may prefer to hide their information in whois query.
