Cost Per Mille (CPM) is a digital marketing term that stands for cost per thousand impressions. It is a marketing model in which a website is not obliged to click an ad by its visitor. Another expression of CPM is CPM. Those familiar with the CPM model sometimes mistakenly think that the "M" in "CPM" stands for "million", while in reality the "M" symbolizes the Roman numeral "thousand" (1000). So “CPM” literally means “Cost per thousand impressions”.

If you have agreed on CPM for 1 TL while advertising, it means that you will pay 1 TL for 1,000 impressions of your advertisement. Currently, many websites using internet advertising in Turkey effectively use the CPM model.

How Is CPM Different From Other Advertising Models?
Along with cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and cost-per-click (CPC), CPM (Cost Per Impression) is the best way to analyze the profitability and cost-effectiveness of the chosen online marketing model. It is the most trackable online marketing model for advertisers, providing other media sources such as radio, television, or print media that are analyzed and sold on an estimated listening, viewing, and audience basis.
