What is HTML?
HTML is the abbreviation of Hyper Text Markup Language in English and can be translated into Turkish as Rich Text Markup Language. HTML is the most common text-based language used for data sharing on the Internet. The biggest difference of HTML from programming languages such as ASP or PHP is that it does not allow to write stand-alone programs due to its much simpler structure. In its most basic form, HTML is used to show web sites and the texts and images on the site to users with the help of browsers.
