What is Decryption?

The process of bringing encrypted or prohibited information back to a readable and understandable level is called deciphering.

Decryption: Any data, file, text, document, etc. that is encrypted or prohibited in order to protect it. It is the analysis of information by bringing it back to a readable or understandable level. The conversion of encrypted data to its original form is called decryption. It is usually a reverse encryption process. This term can be used to describe a method of manually decrypting data or decrypting data using appropriate codes or keys. A similar algorithm is used to decrypt the cipher text and eventually the original data is recovered.
