What is a Distributor?
A distributor is the name given to companies or stores who promote or supply products in the sector in which they operate. These persons can be natural or legal persons. The duty of the distributor is; It is to establish a link, to create a bridge between the companies in the distribution or supply chain and the producer of the goods.

Distributors, who undertake all sales activities of the product they distribute, work by taking commissions at determined rates from the sales they make or the sales they are intermediary in.

What is Distributorship?
Distributor is the general name of companies established to promote and sell goods belonging to any supplier or manufacturer in predetermined regions. Distributorship is a systematic distribution tool preferred to reach more regions and more people.

The distributor's job description and scope of activities are predetermined and clearly stated in the contracts made with the manufacturer or supplier. While there are distributors who stock and sell the products of the company they distribute, there are also companies that forward their orders to the regional authority, general supplier and act as a kind of intermediary.

What is a Distributor's Job Description?
The job description of the distributor can be thought of as a kind of wholesale, but it has a more active role in the distribution network than the wholesaler. Because even wholesalers often work with distributors to find sales channels or solve logistics problems.

Distributor, which we can also call as authorized distributor; It can be a company or a person. Contracts between the distributor and suppliers or manufacturers determine the job description of the distributor. The details of the job description may vary according to the companies, but in the most general form, their responsibilities within the scope of the distributorship agreement are as follows:

Performing sales by marketing the products of manufacturers and/or wholesalers.
Providing training support to dealers and arranging pre-sales trainings.
Informing the sellers about the product and providing trainings on product features if necessary.
Marketing and selling the product to both dealers and system integrators.
