Boeing also said that the power converter unit manufactured exclusively for Starliner in Russia allows to transfer power from the space station to the Starliner. He also stated that these transactions are fully compatible with NASA's Commercial Crew Program .

Boeing Starliner has extremely interesting features. Along with 7 astronaut capacities, it can also show up to 60 hours of free flight operation and 210 days of ability to stay in orbit.

The state-of-the-art crew capsule developed as part of a $ 4.2 billion project was set to be launched by Atlas V rockets using Russian-made RD-180 engines developed by NPO Energomash.
